Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

    Yup, I don’t care to argue about it all either. I actually agree with his thoughts about wearing mask outdoors etc. unless it is a specific style mask for allergens or whatever ain’t doing shat for Covid or many other things.

    But think about it… I mean. People use the same toothbrush all the time, you think rinsing and setting it in a toothbrush holder is really all that sanitary? drink out of the same thermos often without washing it, breath other peoples air all day every day. If you smell a cigarette when someone exhales guess what?

    Mask ain’t really going to do anything. However thinking that wearing one around is killing a persons is a bit far fetched.

    Remember when it all started. And hospitals didn’t have the supplies to change all the time.

    I change my toothbrush twice a month.

    Guess I’m running back to PA empty this week, someone cut a rate $500 on one load and $300 on another,

    or Atleast to Jersey to get to my LTL pick ups and make the same money on 150 empty/ 130 loaded miles.

    It's cheap as heck out here, even on flatbed now.
    Nobody willing to pay above $4 a mile unless it's going to deadzone.

    48k tarp loads for $3 something a mile is not appealing.

    I ended up getting something pretty good but I had to fight for many hours with brokers and on the board.

    Hahaha ha! Good one!

    I'm still getting good loads, just takes me hours on the phone and the load board when it use to take me minutes.
    Way more difficult

    Honestly, that’s always been the norm. I’m sure it’s frustrating if you’ve never had to really work for it in that regard. I bet we see a lot of independents go back to leasing on in the months to come.

    I have never been able to just get good loads. I have always worked for a few hours looking for the best freight. I am gonna guess this might weed out the cheeper guys faster if they have had them just fall in their laps.

    But .. But ... But they just got their authority.. and ...and ...and...their insurance is expensive.. and ... and they bought their own plates... their not going to give up a slice of their pie to a leaser..
    WHAT....give up 18% are you kidding ... I'am gona stay out here and run till Iam out of fuel or my tires are bald.. cause I'am making more money than ever ...lol
    We'll know cause there will be all kinds of threads..... What's a good company to lease on too that will take a 20 year truck with 700k on the clock..
    Or... Can I keep my own plates if I lease on to company
