Man what a day, and I'm exhausted. I made delivery in Topeka at Resers. They dumped out the potatoes but they forgot all the loose ones front to back that got caught in the floor of the trailer. Oops. I ended having to get in there and pick them up and thrown em away. That took a solid 2 hours. It was nearly 10 pm and I needed a wash out. Unfortunately I had to go to the KC Blue Beacon and double back to Sauer for my next pickup to Pineville, NC. The Beacon actually charged Climate 62 dollars, as they claimed it took 7 extra minutes to wash out the trailer ...lolol. This will be great rest tonight.

You don't gotta waste your time picking up all the loose taters in or out of the rails. Just get that crap washed out. Plus ya coulda gone to another wash that we've used . it's on hwy 32 slash berger ave. It's just west of 635 an 70. Called heartland truck wash on trucker path app. Had to use it before for a customer in that area. Dispatch authorizes a com check for it. I know the beacon is easier cuz it's on acct but if it's outta the way than imo it not worth it.bryan21384, 57 model, motocross25 and 1 other person Thank this.

I’m not sure your wash out requirements if they have to be approved by Climate or not, but there’s a truck wash in Topeka that’s pretty decent. They deal with potato loads from Frito a lot. If the bays are full you can pull up next to the building and use their power washer and do it yourself for 1/2 price.

Dispatch will approve any washout. First choice is blue beacon but ya use whatever is in route 1st. Or that's how I've always done it so thx for the info. It will come in handy.bryan21384, 57 model, motocross25 and 1 other person Thank this.

Oh yeah forgot to mention ran into @Professor No-Name at the yard while my truck was in the shop getting the camera put in. Talked for awhile before I got my load to shepherdsville. Already empty btw was getting ready to close the eye lids but they called me for a door. Got the last spot at the loves. Time to crash
