I would say that goes with every brand out. Volvo did not raise prices like the other guys until first of the year. FYI

The increases at this point don’t make sense as things are starting to go the other way for equipment. Or maybe not.

I don't see it happening this year. Everyone is still waiting on trucks so not gonna change until it all gets caught up.shooter19802003 and Oxbow Thank this.

I figured they would start having a lot of orders canceling.shooter19802003 and Oxbow Thank this.

Not that I seen. They are opening up another rental place at the dealer. They have like 5 new trucks that are going in the rental yard and everyone has tried to buy them but they wont sell since it will be another year to get them.Vampire, shooter19802003, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this.

Well I picked up the truck today because the APU is not in yet. Suppose to now ship Friday and so hopefully I can get it installed Wednesday. I wanted to get the truck so I can go ahead and install all my stuff. Gonna try and install this camera system this week and see how that goes. Still needs to be cleaned up on the inside and they will do that next week. Will get some pics once everything is installed.
Also wanted to say that the truck drives like a dream. Big difference from my 2014 670, I can't wait to get it on the road and enjoy the ride.Blue jeans, Vampire, Rideandrepair and 7 others Thank this. -
Well guys.. from Pendleton OR to Fort Bridge WY my MPG’s were pretty sh**. Granted I sort of put the hammer down once I got into Utah, but combined with the hills and 79k gross.. my average dropped to 5.9. Yikes. Let’s see what she does tomorrow on I80 down to the 287.
Blue jeans, Vampire, Rideandrepair and 2 others Thank this. -
79k and 6mpg isnt that bad out west. thats what i averaged running nothing but the northwest for the last year or so.. always max gross sometimes more.... thats a 2350 cummins and 386 peteBlue jeans, Vampire, Rideandrepair and 3 others Thank this.

I see. The RPM’s sit around 1650ish at 74-75 mph, is there much of a difference if I were to cruise around 1500 rpm? Of course less rotation per minute would cause higher MPG, but that big of a difference?
-
Food for thought….you’d gain 1 mpg running 65. It’s roughly .1 mpg for every 1 mph.
And was the 5.9 actually on paper when you filled up or are you just looking at the dash? The dash on the newer trucks is closer than they used to be but tracking on paper is the only way to go if you want to be accurate. I track my week, lifetime, and last four weeks.Blue jeans, Goodysnap, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this.
