Nope. Well, Skid stops are too thin, nothing other than that, doing just fine. We've got 4 over here now, and other than not caring for how the routed the hoses/cables/airlines, nobody has had any problems. We all load the heck out of them, too.Kawinige01, BigBob410 and Banker Thank this.

It sounded like a tire slapping. I clutched it then it just quit on me. The coolant res was completely empty no trail of water anywhere. Wasn't running hot all gauges were normal up to that point.

A friend of mine is having a 9 car built with a daycab 389. I am guessing maybe 42,000lbs or so?Last edited: Apr 16, 2022

Here’s a stupid question for you guys. When you go into a port or wherever to load, I assume they give you some sort of list with VIN#’s and what type of vehicle it is? Do they list weights as well? I assume being heavy to begin with it’s nice to have a general idea of what vehicles weigh what.

Some carriers do, some don't. Depends what dispatch software they use.
Carhaulers generally have a decent ball park idea what something weighs, if they haul them pretty regular.BigBob410, D.Tibbitt, Rugerfan and 1 other person Thank this.
