You have got to be kidding me!! 3 guys unloading 44000 lbs of taters by hand!!! I see some detention time coming!
Bumper, bryan21384 and mdmgolfin Thank this. -
I’ve seen them dumped out on a tipper and I’ve seen them floated out with water, I’ve never seen them unloaded by hand. Yikes.Bumper, 57 model and bryan21384 Thank this.

I unloaded at faison nc. Backed up to a dock an they had some kinda belt machine that they put in an somehow unload it by hand. I guess they must slowly move the conveyor as they go. They were fairly quick about it.Bumper, 57 model and bryan21384 Thank this.

Yea I've had to drop on the tipper at frito lay before. I have heard that if ya were to stay hooked up, that all the oil in the motor would sit to the rear of motor so long that if ya start it right after the tipper comes down it will screw up your engine.Bumper, 57 model and bryan21384 Thank this.

That's the same way they do it at Resers in Topeka. I dropped loose taters off last week there and it looked exactly like that. It was just hell picking them up what was left in the grooves because I was unsure about whether the truck wash would even bother, and it was late too. It was all good though. I got Hella exercise.Professor No-Name and 57 model Thank this.

You're right, it was like a 30 minute unload there in Faison. Then you can get a wash out right there too so it's an overall good place to unload the loose taters.Professor No-Name and 57 model Thank this.

Dang man, you may be there all day at that rate.....lol at least 3 pairs of hands are working it out lolProfessor No-Name, 57 model and mdmgolfin Thank this.

I gotta pick up at Midwest going to palmyra. Supposed to be ready by 22:00 tonight. Gotta get trailer washed out. Probably run over to bloomington an get it done. That's no more outta the way than going to exit 4 an back up. It needs more than a water rinse out. I don't feel like messing with the line at pontoon beach. Especially since they said it had a broke down truck in the bay. That's gonna make the line worse later i would imagine.bryan21384, 57 model and mdmgolfin Thank this.
