Both filters are on. They’ve been messing with the fuel system, so it has to be something they did. At this point I cannot drive it back out there. They will have to send someone or pay for a tow back there. I want fuel loss money as well. Stuff is too expensive these days!

The leak has to be obvious. Start it up, and stand back.

Find the leak and if it was something the shop touched, tell 'em its on their dime. The tow or the service call.

I’m angry at the Shop myself now. It’s not even my Truck. Benefit of a doubt is one thing. Guessing and changing parts is my specialty. I don’t need a Certification to do it. What goods a mechanic that can’t do diagnosis testing? Some bill adjustments are in order. 6 weeks is too long. Nice Guys get screwed. Sometimes you have to be a Total A hole, to get results. Hopefully they just left the line loose on the head, while they went to smoke another dubee.

Like what was said start it up and look for fuel leaking out. Mechanics had my trans out last year went to pick the truck up after hours, started the truck and those A holes forgot to hook up an air line to one of the air tanks, so was one the ground in the dark with my flashlight on my phone fixing it myself. That's what I get for spending $4200.00 what dumb #####.

Might be worth lighting a match and walking away at this point. Call to have it towed and by the time tow gets there it will be gone. Ha Ha

Similar exp. $800 labor for a new $3500 trans, and they left the fill plug out. Then a month later, started leaking cost another $800 to pull trans, and replace all the bell housing bolts, since some were loose/missing. It’s a wonder the Trans now has over 1 mil miles. Flat out incompetence.

The way the motor began smoking off all the diesel, I thought it was going to ignite.

Dude, I’m seriously considering once it’s running, finding a brand new truck somewhere and trade it. This is me hoping the used market value would work in my favor.
