3K is quite the good deal.
I think the school I went through was around 4.5K, and that was over a decade ago.
Do you know what Knight charges with the installment plan?
Because 3K up front is a no-brainer if you have the cash.
Prime or Knight??? Which is best for a new driver?

It's on their website. I believe it's closer to $4K if you're doing installment plan.

I did work for them, and my only concern was that as an experienced driver I had to follow "safety protocols" that I felt were overboard for a driver with experience. The primary example being that i-70 between Denver and i-15 was off limits, unless a rare load delivered on that corridor, as they consider it a dangerous route. There were times that meant I could have potentially sat for 2-3 days when i-80 in Wyoming is shutdown, but I also agree for many rookies i-70 isn't a good training ground. They preach safety, and they mean it even when it gets in the way.jgtrucking Thanks this.
