    Even though we clearly don't have all the facts regarding your situation--I can't help but think you made the right call here.

    Also--should your financial situation somehow change later--the experience and skill sets that you gain over time in the LTL world will allow you to be a fantastic provider for your Family (& this creates a financial "safety net" for you--always a great thing to have!).

    Dude as someone who missed 2 of the first 3 years of my son's life because I was active duty, thats a pain that never leaves. I sent my son to live with my mom in NJ and he was still crawling, he was running when we got him back. If my wife left the room he would cry because he was scared of me. He didnt know who I was. He's 17 now and we are really close, he obviously doesnt remember those years but I will never forget them. A job isnt worth it, if you can find something I say do it.
