Your pay stub may show the total linehaul and then your percentage. Also your dispatcher should be able to tell you before you ever haul the load. In our computer system it’s easily accessible. Also if someone ever had a question that they were getting shafted I’d have no problem showing them the actual invoice we send to the customer.

I’m a terminal manager for a carrier that pays %. Everyone of my drivers can come into my office and I’ll show them exactly what the linehaul is. My office does have work that the customer requires us to build some FSC into the linehaul, but I have a spreadsheet showing how everything breaks out. I’ve never hid a rate from any of my drivers.
I know there’s companies who pay a higher %, but at the end of the day you always need to ask, a % of what rate per mile? 30% of 2.85 mile is still less then 25% off 4.25 mile.bumper Jack and CAXPT Thank this. -
I get 25% of reffer loads I do. It's simple. Dispatch just emails the rate con and it has all the information I need, from address, appointment times to what the load pays. Like I said easy.
CAXPT Thanks this. -
I’m happy to show it, but I stopped emailing them awhile ago after an OO took every rate tender he did and gave it to another company when he jumped ship.
-
can you explain this ?
Cause it sounds like just another way the company screws the driver .CAXPT Thanks this. -
That's what makes this business interesting. If you ever find a driver who knows everything please send him my way. I'll give him a job.
I'm 75 and I learn something new every once in awhile. Sometimes that includes stuff I'd rather not know but that's just the way it goes.CAXPT Thanks this. -
If a fuel surcharge or tolls are charged to the load whoever pays for those deserves that money in full….. as a company driver I’d assume your not paying for thoseCAXPT Thanks this.

That makes sense, it doesn't come out of my end so I shouldn't get that cut.CAXPT Thanks this.
