Is 25% of gross ok for reefer pay?

I agree with everyone so far. 25% on 1099 is a rip off. 35% would be more reasonable.

Ok thank you all for the advice 1099 don’t scare me as I have done it before. It’s just 25% sounded a bit low….

1099 AND paying on percent sounds like a home run for screwing the driver out of as much money as possible. I’ve never done 1099 but I’ve heard horror stories, but if you said you can make it work I guess I shouldn’t have put in my opinion. Too much stuff can be hidden away in the mysteries of percentage pay tho, that I can attest to.
