When I started 1994 only a very few super-aggressive trucks would pas you while you were backing. It is much much worse now than back then. Now if there is only enough space for a unicycle to drive around you while backing 10 trucks will do it at 40 MPH and half of them will flip you off or blow their horn like you have some nerve to back up a truck at a truck stop. The nice guys feel guilty for doing normal things and the a-holes never feel guilt even when they are burning down a church. DO NOT SHAME YOURSELF for trying to improve. It's not fair and it only makes improvement harder than it needs to be.

That last company I worked for that I left just to get more experience so I can go back was in Brigham City. Smaller company. I loved it, and all I ran was Northern Utah :)

Velocity Rail Solutions probably hire you. Have hired new cdl school grads across the nation. Fueling locomotives.

One, the other day, said he made $85G his first year and he was hired right out of cdl school. Pay advertised is on the low end.
Velocity Rail Solutions, Inc. is an A. Stucki Company, with a history dating back to 1911. Velocity has long-term fixed contracts with Class I Railroads to fuel and/or service locomotives using specialized equipment. We have dedicated trucks that operate 24/7 365 days a year. We work in all types of weather and our work is not seasonal. Pay you can count on!!!

Here's a tip I got from my trainer in regards to over steering and potentially jackknifing. Your wings of the truck should NEVER BE DAMAGED. If you've damaged the wings, your technique is wrong. Always watch those wings.
