9 Terrific Truck Stops in the United States

I visited that Little America truck stop in Wyoming once. Wanted to buy a sandwich, but the POS declined my debit card. Like magic, and for a withdrawal fee, I was able to get cash from the conveniently located atm to complete the transaction.

Figured it was a scam, and so I never returned. Has this happened to anyone else?

 

The best truck stop is the one I can find a parking spot when I need it. Everything else makes no difference.

 

Pedro's truck stop on NC -SC border? This is a fantasm truck stop. The store is almost empty. Horrible.

 

Been to 4 truck stops on that list. Good choices,all of them. Little America especially is a oasis. Even when it’s packed you can always find a spot!

 

Did you ever have your payment card decline at Little America?

 

I go to the one in Cheyenne and the one at the 68 all the time. Never an issue, and probably the nicest showers on the road at the 68.

 

Not as of yet,of course I’ve always bought food there-never fuel.
Usually if I have any payment declined/not authorized issues it typically happens around parts of Chicagoland but then I call my credit union afterwards and then they authorize it!!lol

2 = Visited a few times early to mid 2000 decade.
3 = Went Into Maine, ONCE.
4 = NEVER Ran That Route in Wisconsin. Always A Twin Cities Turn.
5 = Never Heard Of It Till This Thread.
6 = Was It Mentioned On Ice Road Truckers? If So, Dang Nabbit, I Musta Missed That Episode (as well mosta the rest).
7 = Never Went To Oregon & Washington States Although Heard lotta Chatter 'bout Jubitz Over The Years.
8 = MY EXPERIENCE, I Had Sausage A Similar Place, namely The Bandit on I-10 In Houston, TX.
I ate NOTHING at both.
9 = It Was WONDERFUL The FEW TIMES I Was There, probably 2004-2006. Those ENORMOUS BURGERS & SHAKES Were Deserved For Surviving Another Load Gain in SLC!! (No "declined payment" since I used CASH)
The Location In Flagstaff, AZ. on I-40, Visited ONCE, was Unlike Wyoming.
