In my Cascadia Truck (serial 60 Detroit) is showing a “fail” on the screen with the code in the picture shown below.
What does it mean? Does anyone have an idea?
“Fail” appears in my trucks computer.

“Engine Fail” is what actually appears with the code. My apologies, I didn’t see that I didn’t add that part.
-
Is the engine still running?
-
If it is, Put some duct tape over the screen and mash on it !
-
The engine is still working from what I could see, I checked the entire engine and nothing is wrong with it.
-
This is a really good idea, i might consider this.
-
Is the check engine light on?
-
A yellow check engine light is often no big deal. Most times it clears itself up after a couple days.
I only worry if the red light comes on.
With my current truck I sometimes get a transmission fault, which will basically shut me down.
But if I use the battery kill switch and kill the power for 30 seconds it goes away.
Apples and oranges with a Cascadia and an LT, but random electrical faults with either can sometimes be cleared up by a reboot of the system.
Shut down and reboot is the classic way of dealing with any random computer problem. -
