    I had my alternator and batteries replaced by mobile mechanic. Now I'm getting a maintenance vehicle ECU required message. Unfortunately I can't take my truck to the Volvo dealership due to Def tank being deleted. Do anybody have any suggestions on how to resolve issue. I tried 3 repair shops that couldn't reset ECU

    Check the cables to the batteries and does the truck have a battery cut off switch? The switch over time builds up resistance and cause weird things to pop up. Some bypass the switch or buy a new one. The dealer over charges for the switch.

    The switch is manufactured by Flaming River and can be purchased cheaper from Ebay JEGs or Summit Racing.
