they put you on the bus for long rides for a reason if you cant handle long periods of riding at a time you wont make it as a driver. its part of their weeding out process

1Bad, i feel for you. That was what i meant about being held hostage. No fee for them to pay if they don't get you home. We had to run illegal once because Central had us pick up a 800mile load we could not refuse. Hubby told them he wouldn't have enough hours to pick it up and they kept insisting we could make it. Once we got there....Guess what? No hours. They told him to ask to see if he could park in their lot to stay 10 hours but the company told him no way. It was a small loading area. So, he used the QC to let them know we couldn't stay there and would have to drive illegal to get to a safe place to stop for his 10. We had to hear those messeges the whole way too. Luckily we only had to drive about 20 minutes to find a place. We cramed in a small spot over loaded with trucks for the night. Hopefully they do right by you and let it slide. If not, i'm sure there are other companies out there who will treat you better. Glad to see Widow is doing good.

I dunno there.. Most likely they do care as long as your not on any kind of medication.. If you are.. You have to tell them.. A lot of meds aren't allowed out here and centrals sticklers on that..
As long as you can complete everyday task.. Suck as climbing into the cab.. Doing a walk around of the truck.. Then central has a wellness test you have to complete in orientation.. Mainly just having to walk around with 50+ pounds and then climb up a few ladder steps with 50+ pounds.. Hope this helps. -
Glad to hear that widow is doing good... I thought about her while I was in class because I didn't get to read this last night to see how she was.

That would be no problem.
Heck, I only had one of my 2 needed ACL surgerys.
First one they removed it, and I was supposed to go again in 6 months for a new one.
I never went though. So I have lived the last 7 years or so with no ACL in my right leg. Heck, I was even running flats for a while jumping off loads and trailers.
OH JJ
What was that about a private group I was not invited into?
Geee.
That was not nice. I thought I was welcome here.
Well, I guess me and JJ need to start our own group. -
Oh, and for the guys complaining about loss of income.
I made over 50k in both 07 and 08, but only about 25 this year. Though I was not working for about 4 months.
At least I get my full per diem though, since neither of the companys I work for pay it out. So I should get an ok tax return.
Man I want fair tax.jasper_truck86 Thanks this. -
