So I get paid hourly at my job and I am trying to make the most out of my time. Let’s say I ran out of drive time but I still got 3 hours of on duty time. Will I get in trouble for trying to maximize my hours for the day?

You can do some other work but there will be no "driving work" that is perfectly fine. Example like hand washing the trailers for 3 hours

So true! The report would read store owner charged for not allowing thieves to take as they please. Store owner is denied bail for not showing compassion and restraint

Pay has nothing to do with hours of service.
You can work 168 hours every week if you want to, you just have to have the proper reset before you can drive again.Cattleman84, MACK E-6, tscottme and 2 others Thank this.
