Was the stop sign on a city street or in the parking lot exit? Reason I ask is some cities require businesses to have stop signs at there exits but they are considered private property of the business and the business is responsible for it not the city.
My warehouse is like that. We have three exits one for cars and two for trucks and have to have a stop sign on the two truck exits only. They are inside our property line at the city sidewalk.
Getting a ticket for property destruction (Stop Sign).

The stop sign was on a city street, for sure. It's sort of hard to explain the setup, all the roads are small and tight leading up to the place. The parking lot is a mudhole

The bill from the city will most likely stun you. It involves gooberment and overpaying for everything. Only this time you will be overpaying. Call Road Law and eat legal fee. It will be better than the ticket and the signage bill. Thank me later.

Yeah but in MO they like to try speeding tickets and no seatbelt tickets in private parking lots.
