Petition to oppose FMCSA speed limiter mandate

We need far more "1776" thinking.

Just because you don't carry doesn't mean you aren't affected. You have the right to carry.

I don't have numbers, but I understand that the citizens of this country are armed heavier than any military in the world, by far. This will prevent any government from going too far, and was the purpose behind "1776" thinking. You are probably thinking that the caliber of weapons that our military has far exceeds the fire power of the citizenry, but no country can be taken without boots on the ground, and this country will not be taken.

What is unknown is just how much we are willing to put up with. Every time the government mandates something like this that is unnecessary because it is already defined as illegal, they move one more step closer to the breaking point.

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad........in some places in the country it is now ok to shoplift as long as the value of the goods doesn't exceed an arbitrary threshold. Is this for the greater good? And yet the government feels that speed limiters are necessary? Because of safety?

Re-read that posting. I didn't say I wouldn't use them. I would, but it isn't like I'm going to go out and just kill someone. If you would like to just go randomly kill someone, go ahead. Your prison sentence, not mine.

No I don’t force vaccines, I force if you don’t want to get vaccinated you have the right to stay home and not be vaccinated.

lots of states have 70-80 mph speed limits but they want a 65 limiter on trucks ……

 

Same thing, just extra steps to help you feel morally just.
