Don't ziptie a key under the hood of a Volvo! How will you open the hood if the doors are locked? Ziptie it somewhere else on the frame

You can fit your hand between the splash guard and the hood and press the latches to release them.

Got that way beat. Had $750 in the driver side head light bucket.

 

Got the belts. If I have alternator failure, I wire something up from the reefer's 65-amp alternator until repair.

 

Easy. You just push the latch levers in by hand above the splash guard.
