Idling really isn't a big deal. I know that I've had to idle the truck excessively before an no one ever said anything about it. An yea i know that if we all do our part to save the company money that in the long run it could possibly lead to pay raises. But we don't get a fuel bonus for maintaining a low idle percentage or a certain predetermined mpg average so by golly idle away!!! Even recruiting will tell ya to make sure your comfy even if ya gotta idle.

I is in rochelle Illinois. Dang close to home for having not went home, yes i know. Kinda sucks but i didn't think i could go the little bit outta route an get shut down in time to get my restart in. Got truck cleaned up an 5th wheel degreased last night. Put fresh grease on it. Ran down the street to a regular Laundromat. That way it's easier to wash bedding. Other than that i am just sitting here being bored.57 model, dwells40, bryan21384 and 2 others Thank this.

I don't even blame for that audible. Heavy traffic certainly ate more of my 70 than it should have considering that I ran 2500 or 2600 miles. It's definitely construction season!57 model, Professor No-Name and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Chinese food sounds so delightful right now. At least if I eat that, it'll be in good company with the other processed truck stop food lol57 model, Professor No-Name, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this.

Dang man. At least you ain't in the hotter parts of the country right now, though it has cooled off some. I'm in Pontoon Beach resetting now. It looks like it will storm at any moment57 model, Professor No-Name and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Gotta stay comfortable! It really doesn't burn that much fuel like so many companies think, and it ain't like any of us working here is idling excessively. APU can't always keep up57 model, Professor No-Name and mdmgolfin Thank this.

One of you guys mentioned recently going to mclane by lanter in dallas there on mountain creek pkwy. Either @mdmgolfin or @57 model. I gotta deliver there 01:30 on Thursday morning. Someone please let me know if that mclane allows overnight parking or not.57 model, bryan21384 and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Maybe I missed an update @Professor No-Name or maybe it’s been longer than I thought since I asked last, but how’s Mrs. Professor doin if you don’t mind my asking? She missing the truck yet?
57 model and bryan21384 Thank this. -
Yeah she misses driving. She doing okay. We will find out tomorrow if her A1c average is low enough that she can get back in the truck or not. She's expecting to be back to work oh I'd say mid June beginning of July after I take vacation possibly that's what we're hoping for anyway57 model, bryan21384 and motocross25 Thank this.

Not sure about overnight parking there. I’ve parked behind back for a couple hours after I was unloaded and they didn’t say anything. They’ll unload you fast BTW. Also watch for those JB Hunt trucks parked along the curb when you’re chasing the trailer in the hole. May make things a little tricky.57 model, Professor No-Name and bryan21384 Thank this.
