Sounds about right. I was happy with 5.5, maybe 6, but not much more. How did the truck run? She go down the road okay?Coffey, Another Canadian driver, CAXPT and 1 other person Thank this.

Truck runs fine. A little slow to get up to speed, but it's a 300, so not a lot of power compared to what I've been driving, but the engine has been solid.Coffey, Blue jeans, Speed_Drums and 5 others Thank this.

Didn’t you say it was a Cummins? Have Jake Brakes…? -

300 Cummins, no Jake's
72 straight hours of DOT pulling trucks over to give them a thorough roadside inspection.
I'm confident it'll pass, just don't feel like dealing with it.Coffey, Blue jeans, Chieftains and 4 others Thank this. -
Sad I didn’t even know it was on. Been crossing scales last few days….. -
Your engine turn 1800 or 2100…?

Yep, stwik got out of Michigan just in time, too. Apparently, the Michigan State Police is going to be participating this year, according to a news release. I guess they haven't been big on it prior from that reference in the news, but with the thought of revenue, I guess they're in.

cke and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -
HA! A "shiny 290",,that's a "castrated" motor, 1900 about it. I drove a IH Transtar years ago with a "shiny 290", 13, and it was slow going through the gears too, but tell you what, get 'er in the big hole, that truck would go 65 down and up no problem. The 300 was a good motor.Coffey, Speed_Drums, cke and 3 others Thank this.
