I usually park at Lanter then creep around to McLane. You could probably get away with parking on the McLane side, but to me, that's a crapshoot. It's a sure thing to park on the Lanter side.
I'm headed back to STL now with Soy Sauce. They opted to have me deliver it in the morning. I am going to Lucky Trading, and it looks like a mild test for my driving capabilities.

I been there when I did LTL in St. Louis, unless they moved since then. If they’re still off Page Industrial it’s a bit snug but nothing you can’t do. Back in off the street tho. I pulled in my first time there and BARELY got spun around in a single axle daycab with a 45’ trailer.57 model, Professor No-Name, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this.

You're saying back off Page Industrial? It doesn't look like it's the worst I've ever seen but for an inexperienced driver, it could be daunting.57 model, Professor No-Name and motocross25 Thank this.

Yes sir I always did. But if there’s not another truck back there you can probably pull in and do some serious wiggling. Right across the street is a place called Alpha Packaging. They have a big lot you can whip in there walk over and take a gander. That turn onto Page Industrial off Page is tight depending on what idiot is pulled up past the stop bar, and there’s a sign and a fire hydrant right there on the corner. I would always turn at Fairview Ave. and do the loop, there a Rally’s right there on the corner. They don’t care if you park on the side and run in either if there’s room.
Red arrow is Rally’s the blue arrow is the truck entrance for Alpha Packaging.Last edited: May 17, 2022

Today's run had me delivering to Coke in St. Cloud, MN. I am sitting at the gate with one minute of drive time left. Talk about cutting it close.

When you sit in your truck and watch one of your coworkers drop a trailer. Then you think dang, he couldn't even throw a couple mudflaps on before dropping it? Now that's a good way to draw attention to yourself during blitz week -
How was Lucky Trading?bryan21384 and 57 model Thank this.

That's just plain laziness. There's a lot of that that goes on around here. They need to start holding driver's accountable for crap like that but , alas they won't. Because in there exact words as told to me by a dispatcher and i quote " we can't punish driver's for not taking care of maintenance issues because then we would lose drivers ". I'm not kidding!!!dwells40, bryan21384, 57 model and 2 others Thank this.

Update on the Mrs.. A1C is now 7.4. Neurologist said the cyst they found isn't anything to be concerned or worried about. She has to get letters from a couple different docs and see about getting d.o.t physical done. I think it expires in july. So we are tentatively planning on her getting back in the truck after i come back from vacation the 1st week in july. So cross your fingers everbody!!!
