I had a car sorta like that when I hauled them
I took it to a storage facility and went about my business
I met the owner of the facility and said I’ll pay one month and if I’m not paid for delivery then the car is yours

I got paid and the people who had me ship it actually picked it up in T. And moved it back to Florida where it started from

The car was t worth my rate to mi e it yet alone twice

Owner said he didn’t have the $ but asked if he could get his personal stuff out of it
Yep. When it’s paid for you sure can!!

 

All cod’s had cash in the pipe if it was after hours

Many small companies would sign a bol site unseen and put cash in a pipe and I would drop after hours and keep moving

 

You always have leverage since you have collateral ...car is at the stated address - do you wanna pay ? No - call me when ready starting today its $50 daily storage , delivery to the storage ( very expensive ) , inconvenience fee etc ...no one can do a thing to you ...been there so many times ...i will report car stolen , complain to dot - whatever ...heard and seen it all
You technically can't put the car even on the ground without cod ...once on the ground and loaded back some states consider it theft already

 

Doesn't come off my trailer until paid on COD for me. Showing me check at a dealership works. But none of this "I'll Cashapp remotely" crap

 

Cashapp - what a scam. I got caught up in a contractor scam using Cashapp and lost $190. Yep, did a police report. Contractor removed the 'employee' from their website - a shame I didn't get a desktop snap shot prior.

 

Well you last resort at the auction would be go inside find the car take the keys and lock the car.
After that hide the keys somewhere in the auction.
Call the guy and tell him when you pay me the cash I’ll tell you where the keys are.
Many of the replacement keys for cars today are hundreds of dollars and one major pain in the back side to get the programming right because of the transponders in them.

 

Same thing happened to me at manheim rochester, he did the same ####. I spoke to the people at the auction she said make a police report you can take the jeep back.....didn't feel like wasting more time with this as shole. $200 they post good rates . then don't pay. Sooner or later someone gonna get um good....
