I parked in back at mclane at 8:00 at night and no one said anything. When i went back in at 00:30 to check back in the clerk asked if i was staged out back to wait for her call. So it sounds to me like they don't mind ya parking as long as there's a opening.

Man......I actually ended up unloading on the other ide of the building and the only way to hit those docks was to blindside! A guy has backed into the dock that I thought I had to go to, so I watched him get in, and then knew what to do from there, only to be told to go to the other side. It took about 15 minutes to back in, but it was raining cats and dogs which made it difficult to see. They didn't take long once I docked though.

What?!?! When everyone thinks of the someone other than themselves, then individual success takes care of itself. It's BS because some has to waste to get mudflaps fixed, especially if they don't have the power tools to get those screws off. I always leave a reefer with at least ¾ tank of fuel, cleaned out, and in good condition. If it really needs some serious work, I send them a message so it can get back to Union. Same with the dry van but I so rarely have a dry van.

I got the short haul Express for the weekend. Got to deliver at 10 in the morning in Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin which only pays 315 mile. No matter how I ran it on Google Maps I couldn't make it any shorter than 338 miles so how they come up with only 315 is beyond me. And the top it off the way they route it up 39 and across 43 and back down and across 50 it's 370 miles to run the trip from Edwardsville 2 Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin. So I rolled the dice and I'm going through Chicago. I ran Chicago for over eight years out of my driving career I am not scared of Chicago and why they always want to run you an extra 50 plus miles out of the way to go up into Wisconsin and avoid Chicago is beyond me. At any rate then I got a dead head back to Chicago after I deliver at Meijer and grab a load it Sherwin-Williams and run 200 Mi to deliver that in Effingham on Sunday. Boy you talk about screwing up a weekend.

Man....don't you know once I started heading to Coke, my truck sputtered and cut off on me at that red light for Route 50? I was in the middle of the #### intersection trying to prime the motor. The shop made a rare mistake and didn't tighten the fuel filter dome all the way. Ed from the shop actually saw me and stopped to check on me. Once it got fuel in there, it was good to go. Thank goodness I had that fuel filter tool in the side box.

I went up there, last Monday and Pleasant Prairie was lovely. I took the route they gave me and you're right, it was about 368 miles. Yet the paid miles were 315. They're trying to save on the tolls I figure. When you make that last turn to get to your delivery, swing super wide! They got bad construction there. I barely made that turn....#### 4 wheelers wouldn't give me enough space hardly. So you're going into Monday with 500 miles to start....maybe 600 of they deadhead you back from Effingham. Not the best but it's a decent start.

Will have to run on a recap since I'll be running on Saturday and on sunday. Had 34 hrs to start friday with. Have to see how it works out i guess. Got almost 2900 this past week. Not to shabby for a day off monday to Tuesday at home. The Mrs spoke to safety. Getting all her ducks in a row between the docs an Rob H. Will have to get physical done as soon as she starts back to work in july but everything is starting to fall in line.
