e-log help

    i do flat deck so unloading is obviously on duty.. also i fuel up when i do my pre trip.. there is no actual set time a pre trip should take.

    Don’t do what i did i was 20min short of making it back to my companies yard on sat morning and no way of getting back .I made the dumb mistake of logging off and use if another drivers log just to get back .Dumb mistake on my part.this was 5 years ago

    How did you have the bxxls to post that you are a thief. Worse yet you have no respect for others. You should have bee fired. Have you no sense of decency. I would say more but the post would be deleted

    His company should have fired him and reported to DOT and the other agencies. I bet they would pull his CDL.

    why use another drivers login though? why not just log off and drive the rest of the way.

    the next day when the e-log asks about these unverified miles just put a note saying the mechanic did it.

    or you could have just said your e-log froze and you had to use paper or something, no?

    Remember that when you sign out the ELD records the time and location. So adding a note that those miles were from a mechanic is futile. The op handled his problem correctly
