I'm getting so tired of this "New Reality" we're living in now.

Parts shortages everywhere. Dealers and service shops dont have the parts. Never fear some business person out of the goodness of their hearts have snatched up multiple pieces of each part and will sell them to you for 3 times the normal cost.

 

It’s only going to get worse. We can’t even keep baby formula stocked on the shelves.

 

To add to the parts shortage there is now apparently a theft ring going around With freightliners. Apparently thieves are targeting freightliners , they're stealing the power train control module. They are after the semiconductor in This module , they are selling them on the black market Where it gets reprogrammed to fit another truck. But, this part is VIN# Specific , so if freightliner is notified in time They can have it blacklisted So that it is unable to be reprogrammed, rendering it useless to the thief. As usual , lock your truck's voice. Hopefully everyone is able to park in a secure enough location When they are on home time or away from the truck that they don't have to worry about this. if not please take any precautions you can

 

Give it time.. hopefully not but way things are going some folks are getting desperate..

 

I gotta go check my bobtail sitting in the hotel parking lot here in Laredo. They coulda stripped that sucker by now….

 

You better hope it’s still there and not doing OTR on the other side of the border.

 

I knew a guy who had his almost brand new truck stolen(Bobtail) from the Golden Corral while he was inside eating. Never recovered it.

 

She’s ok… sitting in the corner….

There are some prettier trucks for the thief’s in the parking lot….
