I'm working on a paccar mx that will not get hot enough to do a stationary regen. I know the exhaust temp before DOC must reach 482 degrees before the doser will start, but I get to 472 and that is all.
Have replaced the doser and the teemp sensors.
    Any takers?

Ok problem solved. Apparently the 13s don't like to heat up on their own too well so turning the engine fan and a/c on will load the engine enough to get that temp up enough for a stationary regen.
Maybe this will help someone else out before they dump a grand worth of parts first. Ha Ha.

Having the same issue. It had high soot and temps rose. When soot level got to medium the temps decreased. Not 3 minutes later soot went low but regen required flashing still. Will post if this helps.

Got HighSoot alarm, then red alarm that DPF had to be serviced and engine was derated. DPF was removed and cleaned but found to be faulty. DPF, etc replaced. Still have red derate alarm. Truck will initiate a regen but not get to temp for it to kick in. Fan on, a/c on still not hot enough. Sensors show good. Any advice or tips appreciated

What year truck? What are you monitoring data with? Did you reset ash load?
