Man today was rough. Rain followed me all the way from Salina. By the time I got near STL it was a torrential downpour. Stressed me out while 4wheelers were driving like it was ####in snow. Pulled over to calm down before I lost control of my emotions. Five minutes later good to go wanted to get to effingham but rain was still pouring so stopped in Vandalia. About 300 miles to go to cincy. Glad today is over

Sheesh man.....the bull #### of trucking. Good thinking to pull over and regain your composure. You still covered some nice ground though....bout 500 miles or so?

Ok thank you! I thought it was just me. This rain event has been so frustrating people don’t know how to drive in it. I shag trailers around KC and all I been doin for 2 days is goin to our customers in Olathe from our drop yard by Worlds of Fun. So it’s I-435 allllll day back and forth in the rain with these morons. Today at 2 I delivered my last trailer and just said I’m goin home. I’m sick of fighting traffic and stressing out all day over it.

I mean that was as close as I ever came to losing my cool in my trucking career. Hope I don’t come across this kind of day for awhile.

I've ran in the rain on an off for a couple days. It poured cat's an dogs in dallas between the hook an mclane. It rained an stormed most all night there. Sitting in sedalia. Gonna deliver at 9 in the morning or close to it. I certainly don't envy @motocross25 . I wouldn't wanna deal with kansas city all day long like that.

Hey i feel for ya brother. I did chicago on mostly a daily basis for 8 yrs running intermodal. A mix of daily city work with otr runs every day. Everything out an back to Chicago. Only time we ever got a break was when we had to grab a can an go to a port somewhere so it could make the ship on time.
