That's how I've heard it pronounced by the natives.

 

East of Winnipeg is a city by the name of Dugald. I've always pronounced it with a longer "u" and a softer "d" at the end (Doo-gall). According to locals, it is pronounced more like "Du-galld" with a shorter "u" and a harsher "a" and a prominent "d" at the end.

 

Yes Sir. Clarksburg, WV was the starting point for them years ago. My buddy’s wife makes them that make your eyes roll back lol, they’re GOOD….!!
