Taking a smith foods load to Richmond Indiana. Got to play a little yard jockey at smith foods moving some of our trailers around. Got to the yard and got my apu cover fixed again . Serviced it while I was there earlier today. Delivering in the morning in Richmond. Travis said deliver it whenever I could. Delivery is set at 5 am tomorrow. So that’s a ha! No

We run enough of the southeast and south that i don't see why alabama should be a problem for hometime. Just keep in mind that they don't pay outta route miles for going home. Like others said recruiting will have the straight skinny for ya. Karen won't BS ya.

I think he said that because he knows they will unload it as soon as you get there, provided someone answers the door. One time I did take straight through and off loaded it. Then another time, I couldn't get a soul to answer the door so I had to wait til 5 am. If it's this one particular fella, though I can't remember his name, he said that he will unload a Climate truck any time they show up. He was cool as ####.

Man I forgot that they were working on the Route 47 bridge off of 44. I had dropped a load off at Menards there in Sullivan. They are having me camp out at the yard tonight. I got off at the 240, and could only bear right. I thought to run 47 south, then hit that Route 66, but it didn't look good on the Google satellite mode. Luckily, I was able to U turn and head back north on 47 as they were only working the west part of the bridge. The camera got that U turn live lol...I only chuckle because I've heard of drivers with other companies getting into some hot water with their safety dept.

I've ran that 47 south of 44 once. There is a bridge down through there somewhere that we are overweight on. I ran it somehow from 67 on another route into 47 an up to union. Rob told me Missouri doesn't want trucks on that portion. An don't let our safety departments good nature fool ya any. Rob gave me my one and only warning for the camera catching me letting it sail down that hill in Alabama. Granted i was wrong , but after 5 yrs i thought it was a little out of character to more or less threaten my job.

Dang 1 and only warning?! Jesus Christ man. A little heart to heart sure, I get it. To threaten a job for that is extreme for me. Point taken though, I'll be careful going down those hills

I was talking to someone at the yard the other day the camera caught her doing 80 down the other side of La Veta pass after loading in Monte vista. Needless to say that was her one warning

Not trying to gloss over what i done but letting her stroll down something like la veta pass is way more serious than some random hill in Alabama .
