Strap and go, no tarp - all in at $1200 on 872 miles.

Slaps flip flop into the air with pinky toe "let's roll".

Dont have any pictures but a short story... Had a pickup truck pass me doing about 90mph on i15 in utah (spd lmt 80mph) with a pallet of mulch in the bed with no securement, lightly shrink wrapped but no black cover on the top.. U know the black cover that keeps the top half of the pallet together..U guys that haul mulch know what im talking about... U guys also know how easy that #### likes to come apart... Guy hits a bump right after he passes me and half the pallet went airborne for a split second. I said hell no and backed it down. Not half a mile later I see a huge explosion of dirt in front of me. Yep there went half the pallet of mulch.. Probably a good amount of money he spent on that... Guess he couldnt afford a couple 1 inch straps to go with it

    It's that time o' year.

Seeing contractors rolling around with skid steers and little excavators on their trailers, not an ounce of securement in sight.

Leaving the Home Depot couple days ago, flatbed pickup with a pallet of cinder blocks rolling out of the parking lot same thing. No straps. A little bit of shrink wrap and a dream.

Also saw a big flatbed rolling through town with all kinds of windshield cracking debris on the deck he couldn't be bothered to sweep off.

"Ain't goin far, ain't gonna blow off. What's the worst that could happen?" -- All of them, probably, as usual.

Wish that was the worst of it…there’s more than one contractor around these parts that hauls full size trackhoe and dozer and usually doesn’t have the time to chain down. Not even a half ### attempt I mean nothing at all just load and go. And one customer of mine told me that a local trucking company chained down his trackhoe (60k machine) with two chains through the steps on the side of the track frame. I guess they didn’t know he was waiting to help unload at the next job lol

    Does he still use them?
Thats a pretty easy shoe in for you to be the guy.... but I been around enough people that see the huge problem and just keep using the same people that #### it up
“Well we been using them for a long time and just because they’ve destroyed multiple loads of product and we have likely lost customers and certainly millions of dollars over their service we aren’t gonna just stop using them...they’re like $100 cheaper a load than anybody!”

That could end up being a pretty expensive $100.
