That's definitely accurate. I've spent about that amount of time there. The best time I ever had was 3 hrs unloading

@57 model I think came up with that phrase. He ought to trademark that one lol. 70 gave you the blues yesterday didn't it?

You got up and rock and rolled this morning. I got down to Atlanta late. The shop in East St. Louis held me up. I only needed an air bag. They wanted to change 4 tires as well. Only one you could say probably needed changing. Those shop techs can develop a nasty attitude if you don't let them do whatever world you recommend. Larry wanted that many tires changed at the yard, which does make sense. They got to arguing with Larry. The techs actually wanted to talk to Nate. I get Larry can be difficult to deal with at times, but I couldn't understand why they can't just do what's asked especially if the tires didn't need changing. Larry ok'ed the one tire and the air bag, and they got hesitant to do that; only because the bill was going to be 600 instead of like 1500.

Was this at the pilot? Cause I’ve never had a issue with them and we’ve gotten along well.

One day I went in there for just a trailer washout they're at exit 4 at St Louis. Before the guy even got back to running the hose to Wash trailer out he's looking at the tires and he's like well you know that tire is this and that tires that or whatever I'm like dude I came here for a trailer washout that's it. I did not come here for a tire replacement. If I wanted a tire replaced I would have went inside and lined up to a shop Bay for a tire. Now yes there are times that you need tires and I can understand Larry wanting to save a little money and have it done at the yard and that's all fine and well if they're legal enough to get to wherever they got to get and get back to the yard in order to be changed. But if you have say 3 tires that have flat spots and there at zero tread depth and you're not headed to the yard well then he's got to bite the bullet and have them changed. That's the cost of doing business. I understand him wanting to save money. I get it, but if somebody was to say get put out of service because of a couple tires with flat spots, he'd be paying more money because of the road service call he would have to pay for, for a tire shop to go to a weigh station. I know that one day that I had four tires changed up there at Exit 4 Larry with a crying about the price of the tires well when you broke down the bill they only paid 250 bucks a tire. I mean it's not like he's getting those tires in the shop that they use at our shop for free and he's having to pay something for those tires. And 250 a tire out here at truck stops and stuff seems to be a for a trailer tire seems to be an okay price. I know this was long-winded sorry.

Oh I totally get where your coming from. If the tires were actually ####ed up, I would have told Larry what it was. I definitely agree sometimes he will have to bite the bullet. In that case, Climate should tell all the drivers to tighten up on thwir pre trips. It was only one that needed changing. I actually got it tied down on the back the cab. The others would have made it just fine. One of them tried to look at the tires while I was getting fuel there once. I told him it wasn't necessary to do all that. I get they're trying to get business, but I do poorly with pushy people and businesses. It makes me go the other way.

C F Sauer. Or i think now it's just called Sauer brands. They make Duke's mayo and salad dressing products. Not sure what all of their product line consists of completely. The wife and i have hauled fresh strawberries that had been processed an frozen for them as well. Although that load came from California and had Sauer Brands in Greenville listed as the destination. Delivered that one to some caves up off of hwy 32 near edwardsville ks though.
