No, he's right. The flammable stuff is more for industrial type applications like bridge or traffic paint. Trust me, you want nothing to do with that stuff in your house.
And yes, I have delivered to bridges.
Any info on sherman Williams

On a different note. I was surprised to learn that 40,000 lbs of 1gallon bottles of household Clorox Bleach is not considered Hazmat and does not require a HM endorsement or placards of any type..... I hauled a number of those with Swift.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

I just gave my notice at my current job after 17 years and looking forward to this as my last job! I'm interested in all the opinions and advice I can get. I should start in two weeks.

@Longarm, how many stops/night do regional guys typically pull? Waiting to hear back in TX.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I don't work out of Waco so this is a guess at best, but I'd think 2-3 peddle routes a week plus backhauls. 5-6 store stops per trailer is probably pretty close to average. It's entirely possible I'm wildly off depending on how their dispatch runs things down there.SoulScream84 Thanks this.

Which DSC?
When you're there for orientation, hang out in the driver lounge if you can. Try to make a friend or 3. It's good to have somebody on speed dial to answer questions and especially give guidance with stores you haven't been to. Some of these guys are walking encyclopedias.Last edited: Jun 12, 2022
