Or maybe watch where you are
Going , and stop rear ending parked vehicles ?

    you’re traveling 90 or 100 feet per second .
Hitting a truck parked 3 feet from the travel lane in broad daylight , is no one else’s fault except your own for not way hinders where the hell you were going .

Wrong. IT is the idiot who parked where they were not meant to be parked. Unless for a medical/mechanical emergency. Driver could have been avoiding any of a number of unforeseen events. Moral of the story. Don't be a sitting duck.

    I disagree

when you are texting or sleeping and leave the road and hit something that’s three or four feet off the roadway , that’s on you .

Anything besides an interstate and there are trees utility poles culverts etc four feet off the road and sometimes closer than that .
I’ve seen utility poles between the curb and the sidewalk

a do agree that you should not park on the shoulder , the shoulder is for emergency stopping when you can’t make the next exit . But if this stopped vehicle had a legit mechanical issue that prevented further safe travel , then what ?
It suddenly becomes the fault of the sleepy or texting driver ?

Opus, Bean Jr. and F4T6UY Thank this.
