I think it would be pretty easy to steal fuel at most parking places. I know where I currently park I tend to try and leave my truck low on fuel to mitigate the cost of replacement fuel.

Add my backyard to the list. In November, I filled the left (50 gal) tank on my MDT, then drove it to the leaf point and back home (6 miles). I went out to start it last week and saw the gauge reading 1/8. Its notorious for being wrong, so I hopped out and looked in the tank... it was spot on.

Had my fuel stolen on McCarty in Houston when Obama was president.
Probably was the guys cooking the bbq.
