Not really. When you look at generational spending trends, millennials and gen z spend a little larger percentage of their income on "extras" as gen x and boomers, but pay much higher housing and insurance (all types) than preceding generations. When you look at debt, gen x had tons of unsecured debt used to fund their lifestyle, while most of millennial and gen z debt is from education. An education, I might add, that we were told would pay dividends regardless of how much we had to borrow. And I'm not talking about degrees in underwater basket weaving either.

It's also more "paying $1,000 in rent but not "qualifying" for a $800 mortgage".

And corporations owning almost 15% of single family homes.

According to realtors and people moving to our area just outside of San Antonio,Texas bidding wars are very common here as well and home prices have increased drastically from two years ago.

 

Last year we had off-shore buyers slapping down a quarter million over asking on single family homes. The Chinese gangsters laundering their money here should be ok but there’ll be a lot of ordinary people ruined when that bubble bursts.

 

I’m sure he will. I’m referring to the 25-30 yr olds in Moms basement. Video games are a part of our high tech world. I have a nephew with an electrical engineering degree. He’s worked for all the big Companies over 20+ yrs. Last I heard working on algorithms for gaming, Lol.

Why would they, all they have to feed is themselves.
They got it better then we ever had.
They can be a bum, get free sex, without any responsibilities.

The woman set it up this way.
There just taking advantage of it.
