I camped out at salina. Figured run the rest of the way in tomorrow so I'll be back on track working on Monday instead of having the day off.

Getting loaded back to New Century. Still haven't heard if I can take the Tk home for my surgery. Justin was on vacation last week and he seems to have forgotten about it. I sent in my home request and he wanted to know when I'd be back out. Said I wasn't sure, an he said was , time noted in system. Sure hope I can drive it home, will save me around 1000 bucks!

I wouldn't leave it to chance. I'd be a having a direct conversation with them about it. Besides it's not like they're gonna make use of the truck while you're off. It would just sit at the yard till ya get back. No reason imo ya shouldn't be given a load to get ya home with it.57 model Thanks this.

Exactly

They certainly could use it..4 wks is a substantial amount of time for a truck to sit especially a new one..they have to have revenue generated with it..i could see maybe 2wks at most but not 4 weeks.

Our company doesn't put other drivers in our trucks while we're off. Most usually aren't off longer than 2 weeks but with a medical situation and a guy off for a month or so wouldn't make any difference. Only way they're gonna use that truck is if they know for a fact that you're gonna be on a definite extended leave of absence. In that case ya would more than likely get a new or different truck upon return anyway. They don't need it anyways. We usually have 10 to 20 trucks without drivers anyways.

Happy Belated Father's Day to my brother Climateers!!! I certainly spent ut getting down to Houston. APU engine is overheating when running it in the day time. Thay should give the shop something to do when I get back up there lol.mdmgolfin and Professor No-Name Thank this.

Ha!!!!! I might be the worst grandpa driver through the gorge. I've seen quite a few trucks put it on its side going through there. Some of those curves are deceptive.mdmgolfin and Professor No-Name Thank this.

You know I've been thinking about your situation. Justin may not be the right guy to talk to. What to do with the truck is most likely out of his hands. He's probably echoing whatever the man at the top is telling him.mdmgolfin and Professor No-Name Thank this.

I keep having the front airbag malfunction light an message pop up. They've fixed it twice already an it's popping on again. I wait till it stays on full time to write it up. First time Nate said it had broken something inside the steering wheel itself. I don't know what they found this last time. But I just service the truck and did whatever with it the other day and it's starting to pop on again so who knows.bryan21384 Thanks this.
