What made you quit watching tv in 2012 just curious. Was wondering if it was the programs available to watch or what.

    Boondock Thanks this.

This. Most shows are thinly vieled propaganda, bad, or boring. I have a few shows i enjoy but i mostly listen to audio books. For everything else. Laptop.

You mean all of the exciting goings on out the front window of your truck parked at the truck stop isn't entertainment enough????

I carried a cheap plug in antenna to pick up the local channels.

I really enjoyed watching the old school black and white detective shows while in Quebec.

Some cities you would get crazy amounts of channels like Houston or even Kansas City. I think I got like 124 channels in kc. Was really surprised.

I didn't do much tv watching I would rather just play a couple games of MLB the show while hiding in the sleeper at the dock but every now and then I'd do a channel scan.

I don't even watch tv at the house.
I have Hulu because it comes with my phone package but I've maybe watched 3 movies off of it. Last one was some cheesy movie about a 17 year old having a babysitting business but they turned it into a hooker organization and became the pimp. Wasn't that great but it amused me for the time for how bored I was.

Oh something I did do that if it appeals to you.

I would use a free VPN on my computer to watch tv free from other countries like abema in Japan. I watched Sumo wrestling for some reason.

Proton VPN is a free one.

You can also watch the terrorist channel for international NASCAR and f1 coverage if you are into motorsports.

I couldn't tell you the actual name of the channel but it's in Arabic symbols but it's just the broadcast in English for free and no commercials.
