No particular reason. We did two others trailers years ago and they’re still running around after all this time paint looks good
I did as much as I needed to, to Cover the orange. But painting over white or other light colors shouldn’t be as difficult to cover up
Paint Job on my aluminum semi trailer, suggestions?

Did we miss the part where you stripped the old paint off? Already bare? Looks like it’s bare metal.. Job looks great. Details in type of paint, type of application. Can’t just drop a couple pics without detailed details. LolBean Jr., Jed2009, ZVar and 1 other person Thank this.

This is the comment right here. Some other dude commented to get a full wrap on the trailer for $10k like that's a realistic option or something. I only say that because 95% of people would probably do SMD's type of paint job. As long as the roof aint leaking most guys wouldn't even bother. Nobody mentioned the paint by name, but the stuff the shops and professionals use is expensive.
I used rustoleum on the lower front side edge (the steel part thats part of the fifth wheel plate) that held up a long time. I gotta paint the whole front side now so yea I'll probably use rustoleum it's cheap and durable and as long as it looks alright. Honestly I didn't think of using a roller, but it would probably come out better than a spray can job.
