Where is everyone #5

I’m kind of the same, I own properties in 3 provinces but I’m only a resident of one. Different if you have a principal residence in one and a summer home in another, that’s where the percentages come in. May be different down there but income taxation here is based on the rate wherever your principal residence is.

 

One of my drivers was black-listed by Safeway in Tracy. I've known the driver for over twenty years and if he blew his stack there was a good reason for it. I did a little checking anyway and the person he blew up at had it coming and was probably lucky he didn't get a couple of pages added to his dental record.
I faxed Safeway and told them to include all of our drivers and every truck we owned to their stupid blacklist.
We were tired of hauling for them anyway. Their unload times almost always screwed us for getting our backhaul and they never even tried to change.

 

I can’t remember the wagon, but that don’t mean it wasn’t there

 

They just took it out about 6 or 7 years ago. When you walk passed the fuel desk in to the restaurant, it was on the left where you went into the other part of the dining area.

It was a wooden horse drawn wagon, the bed of it was iced down with all the bowls of salad stuff. They had good pickled beets which I like….

 

When your customer pays extra for your boom truck to help set and install a thumb……

 

I was on another site looking around on this particular thread, and was amazed at the number of dispatch services peddling their wares. They all want you to have your own wagon, own authority, and own fuel card. Maybe somebody can explain to me, if you have all the things they require, why do you need them? Honest question.

 

It’s beyond me. I’ve had some argue brokers are a necessary part of the industry. Anyone that finds them necessary, is in the wrong business.

 

The last time I got a text from one of those "Hi, do you need a dispatch service?" places my response was:

"If I wanted a dispatcher I'd be a company driver"

 

I was 17 when I got my wisdom teeth out, they were impacted. I was only supposed to be going for a consultation and then the f'er goes oh I can have those out before lunch Lol. The anxiety before was worse than getting them pulled. Nitrous and Novocaine

 

That had to be better than 2 8balls and needle nose pliers.
