When I retired I was just a hair over 6 figures. That was in 2011. The money is definitely in food service. But you'll absolutely earn it.

Here on my sandbar, we have Sysco and US Foods. Those boys earn their money, especially in the summer. I've seen them drop a load for a place and then come back a couple hours later and drop another. Same driver. They really do earn their money. Keep in mind their also hitting a ton of other restaurants at the same time. You'll see those boys running late into the day if there is a need.
Most of them are good people to. Like good stand up folks. No wishy washy ########.

Just make sure you are paid hourly not salary or per stop. One guy at polar broke down, dude was pissed off saying now he won’t get paid much0.0?
Love pushing milk, hard work for sure but paid hourly so I’m up for it -
I do food service, I make 2500 a week on my route, I made over 120k last year. I do 5 days about 62 to 65 hours a week. My route is pretty chill but took me over 6 years to land this route. Making 100k isn't hard in food service but you definitely will have to eat that #### sandwich tbe first few years and pay your dues to cut your teeth
Cardfan89 and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this.
