Ok figured I would come back and update for anyone else who might end up here with a similar issue. The problem was...drum roll please...
The shift knob! High/low selector. Replaced the entire thing since that’s how they come.
Bizzare transmission issues! Rockwell 10 speed! Need best guesses!
