Attention all company drivers!!!

Even if a foreign entity buys a company, the union stays in place. German companies are heavily unionized, so buying a union company is a big plus for German companies. Good example is Volkswagen in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Volkswagen Germany encouraged Volkswagen Chattanooga to unionize.

 

If you saw my paychecks, you wouldn't care either.

 

That's a fair point. I hope the union does right by T-Force (former UPS Freight) in the upcoming negotiations.

 

You know what? I was in the grocery store shopping, so that last retort was uncharacteristically glib. Let's get into it.

I'm not some deluded union member. I know the wrongs of the Teamsters and other unions, and I know that some locals do shockingly little for their members.

But if you think that the consolidation of wealth that has happened within the last 40 years isn't an absolute emergency, and that we don't need collective bargaining and negotiators to deal with people who are professional businessmen, I might say you're the one who's deluded.

Are unions perfect? No. But what's happened to the free market over the last 40 years is an EMERGENCY. Labor's house is on FIRE.

 

Better to be owned by Germany than China

 

Chinese women are hot compared to chubby German women. I'm German, so know what I'm jabbering about.

 

We Irish, our women...and men, sadly...age like potatoes. Lol

 

Chubby German women? I hardly saw any when I went to Germany a few years ago..Ive never seen so many pretty women in my life...except down here in the southern USA of course.

 

The slim good looking ones have Polish DNA.

 

Why don't I checky paycheck, and hug my medical and dental benefits instead?

Something that as a 1099 independent contractor has to pay out of pocket.
