I am simply appalled at the idea that people have become so self centered and stupid that we need to pass laws on issues that used to be considered common sense. You don't text while driving, because it removes your attention from the road. You don't watch *any* type of movie, because it takes your attention from the road. You don't read a book, (or newspaper) while driving because it removes your attention from the road. If you don't already know this, please turn in your license, and remove yourself from the genetic breeding pool as rapidly.

 

I beg to differ. I thinkk anytime that someone watching porn ina moving vehicle kills a young mother of two, it will make the news.

I bet most of those involved in "multi-tasking" driving accidents thought much the same ...

Don't confuse "good fortune" with wisdom ...

 

Reckless Driver = 1-3 yrs Exp.
Careless Driver = 3-5 yrs Exp.

 

Except for, perhaps, someone in the sociopolitical group of.... say, the late Teddy Kennedy, for instance.
They'd get a pass.

 

We called it "training". We were trained and tested quite thoroughly, and were held to higher standards than police departments operating the exact same equipment... while driving.
No, it's deadly serious, and to attribute it to luck, or fate, is kind of an insult.
