They were cooked on a gas grill. The secret is very high temps. Those were done at 700 degrees. Something I learned from a chef, is never try to cook cold meats. Salt is your friend to getting a really good sear on the outside. Don’t need to pack it on, just a good pinch or two on each side.

 

I don't know about meth mouth. I do know a lady who was hit head-on by a drunk very near the West Memphis Walmart several years ago. Last I spoke to her husband Aetna has paid out close to $175,000 on rebuilding her mouth and left jaw!

 

My nephew is a DDS and specializes doing a full "All-on-4 dental implants" for $30,000.00 upper and lower.

A friend of mine got a quote of $10k for inserts, a few years ago. He opted for regular false teeth, he keeps them in his pocket more than his mouth, says they are uncomfortable.
