Is it just me or are young adults under the age of 25 just plain lazy?

I've watched an old grown man have a temper tantrum like a toddler at a place in Winchester, VA that requires drivers to stand by the dock and count as the forklift driver loads you. He acted like a huge child and called his company and said he's not doing it. But I'm sure he's the hardest worker out here and all of these younger and foreign drivers just can't even compete.

 

His company probably wasn't paying him to count freight and he wasn't afraid to stand up for his belief.
Unlike the younger generation who just accepts the abuse and works for nothing.

 

I believe there are many people who are going through a part of life no one is cool with

That's hilarious. I guess he has it worked out where he's paid to fuel, paid to pre-trip, paid to post-trip. But they didn't get him on the not getting paid to abide shipper policy. I bet he gets a $25 bonus for putting on a safety vest when shippers require it. Sends in a pic on his flip phone.

Always some excuse the lazy has.

 

And that has been passed down for generations. Just like the whole we should all come together and strike and not take cheap freight from the O/Os it's been said since deregulation.

 

Until they stand up for themselves, at which point they get called lazy and entitled.

 

Asking the gubberment to pay off your student loan is NOT standing up for yourself.
