Les2,i pulled covington hill with 80,000 corn last week and tried hitting it at 62mph and the best i could do was 50-51mph so your still the man
,but i do love the way the 'ol b lugs, the more i run it,the better i like it
-
530 to the ground!? I'd say you need to be givin advice, not asking for it! My poor little Detroit would faint seeing that.
dairyman Thanks this. -
i don't need to give you folks any advice,RW. plus with my fuel milage you could always haul me home with your Detroit when i run 'er out of fuel trying to put up Les2's numbers on Covington hill
-
I think the best I did was right around 55 and now I'm lucky to do 45...
. I must have hit the wrong number if I put 60 in there?
How much boost you pulling? -
30 to 32lbs Les2,but let me clarify that i had the 'ol girl turned more than 3 turns
,i was just curious how it would do,but i'm not going to run it that way, don't want to melt 'er down
-
I'm only getting 25-26lbs.
Heck, leave her like that! Just keep an eye on all your gauges and know when to get out of it.
For the record in case I haven't mentioned it... Tony Welch has helped me a great deal! -
He has helped a bunch of us, Les2!!!!
I have tried talking him into starting his own forum, but no luck... -
To much of a PIA, his words...

I've tried to get him to move over this way, get a garage going, there's plenty of business.
