Texting is now Illegal in Commerical Truck's and Buses

Ok its the same old story its always the trucks fault.......All the stupid stuff I see 4 wheelers do texting etc. is really getting to me. Would be interesting to see a study of accidents with trucks relating to texting compared to cars. Yes there are more cars on the road which would actually make the 4 wheelers figures seem low but lets be fair. Number of cars on the road and number of accidents involving same show a percentage. And the same way for trucks I'm betting the truck stats would be considerably lower. Why pick on the Trucks? my guess is we are not the popular vote lets make the general public think the gov is trying to be accountable for their actions to make them look like good material for the next term in office. Sorry for seeming bitter but I have been at this for a long time and it seems every time I turn around there is another rule and reg. thrown at me.

 

buses, commercial vehicles and even cars should have the no texting laws. especially with these "fancy" phones where you need 2 hands to text

 

I've never understood the whole texting thing. IMO it's retarded! It's a friggin' PHONE people TALK! I can understand kids in the classroom texting each other to communicate quietly and talk #### about the teachers but that's about it. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to text while driving down the road.
