I’m pretty certain it does not obtain that file. The gentleman that hooked up didn’t make reference neither the shop that did initial delete. My truck has never been to cat for anything. I do have the fuel resister in play at this point. Tried boost fooler as well with no luck. Possibly wrong resister, 150ohm 1w is in play right now.

I never tried the boost, just the fuel temp resistor. I think it’s a 100ohm on it. You have to get rid of the EPA ‘04 file to make them run. Low serial BXS didn’t have the ‘04 EPA file in them, they needed to be flashed with an ‘04 update. Most got updated at dealer service, some didn’t. The engines that did won’t take an earlier file so you’re screwed, the ones that weren’t you can flash with whatever you want.

He already has a modified file.

From the guy with the tunes that won’t run? That’s a late BXS, it’s had the ‘04 file since day one and you can’t do anything with them then. He needs an ecm. Either one with the EPA ‘04 tuned out of it, or an ecm that never had the ‘04 file in it and pick a good file from there.

the truck upon purchase had a computer from truck ECM installed out of Dallas. Truck was than tuned by a retired master cat man and welp I deleted and had tuned and dude screwed it all up. Truck is running better thus far without injectors. Fuel psi at idle is 95 and 1500 high idle 110. Fuel lines replaced from secondary fuel housing to head both sides. The supply line I ran up to my ac line and wrapped it in hopes of possibly cooling fuel ♂️ Have plans for fuel cooler on intake and return side but in field it gets tricky getting tractor in and out of places. Plan this weekend to pop valve covers and ensure nothing is broken and readjust injector height. Just got in new tool for it so have to get it set up. Some say set it as too is smooth across it. But I still have a small hang over from the stem of the tool.it’s minor but still there. Any advice would be appreciated. Oooh I called several places around me and injectors are not on hand. They say they can rebuild mine with 2.5 week lead time so I’ll sit on mine for know.

Gauge is a go/no go gauge. You should catch the one raised end with finger nail, should pass over the lower end hence the "middle" of step flush with tool. I have two tools and measured them, one set it a couple 0.001 low. Spec is 3.07" plus or minus 0.010". Just be consistent.

Fantastic, yea my first one got ran over I still used it twice with fair results. I’m going to give it a go and crap shoot it. This truck is wild fix one thing another pops up. Now boost comes and go again. Fun times with this cat.
