There was a couple of those trucks for sale late last year sitting out on i90 just west of Missoula. Almost bought one when I wrecked my truck.cke, CAXPT, staceydude and 4 others Thank this.

He’s downsized quite a bit. I think it’s him and one son and a couple three drivers is all. The last glider I drove for him in 2017 is parked at his yard along with 2 built gliders and 2 new trailers that have never been on the road. They’re decent trucks but you’d have to make some changes if you wanted to drive much faster than 65-70 or so. Tall 24.5 with 15 speeds and 3.90 rears.cke, CAXPT, staceydude and 6 others Thank this.

Dropped in N.C. this am, waiting on my reload now. Was going to go back inland
to Kenly, but I'm sure if I do it will be in the wrong direction... oh well.
I could pick up one of these tho...

Two tone or striping means your hood will be expensive. Probably be the most likely one on the lot to get tore off.cke, CAXPT, staceydude and 2 others Thank this.

If you could’ve seen the numbers on them 87A would’ve been an 04 glider, 90A and 91A would’ve been 05’s with Acerts. Can’t remember if any of them at Huson had a lift or not. 89A was the new one with a lift that I got in 05, 88A was an older glider that had a lift on it.
I think all the hopper flats are gone now, not sure about his grain doubles that he had. Last trip out west I saw someone pulling his old spread axle belt trailer. Someone has one of the old 4 axles with a 4 axle conestoga and that thing still makes me do a double take when I see it going across SD on 90 because it’s so out of place that far to the east. Lol
Guess he’s selling stuff little by little to avoid taking a hit on taxes. I wouldn’t mind getting one of the new gliders but I’d sure be leery now that they’ve sat for this long.cke, CAXPT, staceydude and 4 others Thank this. -
Definitely nice looking equipment and we'll equipped for hauling heavy. They catch my eye everytime I pass them on the road.cke, CAXPT, staceydude and 3 others Thank this.
